The Reverend Canon Alan Strange was until recently the leader of Holy Trinity, Norwich, he's now moved across the channel to minister in France. He has an intellect that is worth tapping into, and he can teach difficult theology to little guys like us at The Bridge in a great, relevant way. That's why we love him, that's why we have him here. Alan is a short little English Vicar, who managed to marry a tall beautiful blonde American. There is hope for us yet...
I’m told by those who look after The Bridge that the best way to ensure an article is read is to mention sex and porn. The Bible is not so popular. That’s me sunk, then, because this is all really about the Bible.
With sin, we can slide one of two ways: we can be focused on sin and try to avoid it by keeping rules or we can so delight in our forgiven-ness that we simply stop caring about the standards of how we might live.
Transformed by the Holy Spirit. Created into something new. Born again. What does the bible say? Alan Strange takes a look into this exciting idea... sometimes, though, it doesn't feel like we're all new... right?
