What comes to mind when you think of Jesus? This week we're thinking about his amazing ministry, how he conducted himself and what we can learn from him. There are loads of aspects that we could look into, but we've picked four things this week. We hope you find them helpful and inspiring.
One of the things that most stands out to me about the gospels is Jesus’ humility. A simple carpenter’s son, nothing flashy, serving the needy, spending time with those on the peripheries of society, yet the son of God, who created the Universe and performed miracles.
In the gospels we read many accounts of the way Jesus moulded his culture according the values of the Kingdom of heaven. He worked within and honoured certain systems, he spoke out against wrong behaviour and he demonstrated a new way of living – he lived it out himself.
